The World Village Festival follows the Finnish law when gathering and registering personal data. The World Village Festival does not keep or use the personal data for marketing purposes.
Privacy
Cookies
When you visit the World Village Festival website, your browser will automatically save cookies on the hard drive of your device. Cookies may include text, numbers, dates, location information and other data, but no personal information will be saved. Cookies are also not applications and they cannot cause your device to be infected with viruses or other malware. Cookies cause no harm to your device.
Cookies can be used to monitor the website’s audience volumes, to save choices made on the website (e.g. your favourite programme selections), to monitor how the website is used (so-called click paths) and to target and manage advertising. Personal data registry
When you register for a workshop, a newsletter, as a volunteer, as an exhibitor, as a factual programme producer or when submitting programme suggestions or other information through our website, we collect personal data related to you. This data is used for implementing collaborative partnerships, managing customer relationships and for marketing and customer relations communication. The registry includes information provided by the user. The registry may also include data created as collaboration or customer relationships are born and maintained (e.g. programme suggestions, exhibitor registration or factual programme producer registration). Information contained in the registry is not given to any third parties.
Only the persons appointed by the controller of the registry have the right to use the registry. The data is saved to a database that is protected with passwords and firewalls.
Persons have the right to inspect the personal data related to themselves in the registry of World Village Festival and to request that any erroneous information be corrected. The inspection request can be made by contacting the person in charge of matters related to the registry. You can find their contact information from pdfs listed below.
